FAQ

What material are the walls, floor and roof of the pavilion made of?

In the basic version, the walls are built of sandwich panels with a 100mm thick polystyrene or polyurethane core. Of course, we can use other panel thicknesses. The panel is clad on both sides with steel sheet in the color of your choice.

How are the pavilions heated?

The pavilion is heated using air conditioning with a heating function or electric heaters.

Is it possible to live/work in a sandwich panel pavilion during winter?

Every pavilion/house made of sandwich panels manufactured by JJ PROJEKT is features insulation. Our standard insulation is polystyrene or polyurethane. This is completely sufficient for the pavilion’s comfortable use in winter conditions. Many of our houses are ordered with the intention of year-round living for several years and longer. Depending on your needs, we can increase the pavilion’s insulation by thickening the wall and roof insulation.

How to prepare a plot of land for a pavilion?

A foundation needs to be prepared in order to safely erect the pavilion. This can be a levelled concrete screed or ordinary concrete foundation blocks. A crane with HDS, a forklift (2.5-3.5 tonne lifting capacity) or an excavator will also be required for unloading, depending on whether or not the pavilion has a full steel structure and hooks. If you wish to move the pavilion to another location in the future and it does not have a steel structure, we advise seating it on concrete blocks. The pavilion can also stand on leveled paving stones.

How is the pavilion transported?

The pavilions are delivered on an auto-platform. The platform will arrive as close as possible to the pavilion’s foundation, after which it will be unloaded.

How much does the pavilion transport cost?

The cost of transport is net PLN 3.5 per km in both directions. Example: A customer has ordered a pavilion that will be unloaded 50 km one way from our premises. (3.5 x 50) x 2 = PLN 350 net.
